Adam Cannedy
Bass-baritone — Southern Methodist University
Adam Cannedy received the Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2007. As a senior there, he performed the role of Don Alfonso in "Cosi fan Tutte," singing four performances in four days. Adam won the Encouragement Award at the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in Atlanta in January, 2008, and has been selected as first alternate to the Santa Fe Opera apprentice singer program. He is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda music honor society. He is currently singing in the chorus of The Atlanta Opera.
